radio show, “Hollywood Confidential” and in Los Angeles,
“Leeza Live”. Bethany’s entertaining specialty is her
confrontation of edgy problems with real world solutions.
Dr. Marshall points out that well meaning (but not always
sought after) advice from family, friends, clergy and
others is often not enough to effect a meaningful and
lasting change. With laser like precision, Dr. Marshall
is able to confront individuals and couples, helping
them understand their psychological dynamics and offering

Bethany was born in Zaire, Africa. The daughter of missionary
parents, Bethany grew up in an environment that fostered
humanitarian concern. Her family returned to the United
States when she was a teenager. After obtaining a Bachelor
of Fine Arts with a minor in opera, Bethany moved to
California and graduated with a Masters of Divinity and
a Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. A
multiple degree holder, she has a Doctorate of Psychoanalysis
and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychoanalysis.
Bethany has been in private practice as a Marriage, Family
and Child Therapist in both Beverly Hills and Pasadena
for the past nineteen years. She makes frequent appearances
as a contributing psychological commentator on “Good
Morning America”, “The CBS Early Show”, “Tyra Banks”
and is a weekly contributor to “The Nancy Grace Show”
on CNN Headline News. She is also the call in relationship
psychologist for Leeza Gibbon’s radio shows, “Hollywood
Confidential” (distributed in 137 markets) and in Los
Angeles, “Leeza Live”. |
